My Day Trip

"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1

Yesterday, I awoke with a longing to visit the mountains. I asked my beloved husband if he would take me to see the leaves. He agreed and off we went. We enjoyed a beautiful day with our furry kids. The leaves were a golden yellow and orange with a vague hue of red sprinkled in.

I continue to gather my thoughts from my day trip. I am overwhelmed with the blessings sent my way. GOD revealed Himself in magnificent ways at every turn. In the coming days I hope to share from the depths of my heart the blessings of Sunday, October 25th, 2009.

Amazed by HIS grace,

Andrea

Oh the colors that God paints for us with the leaves and His nature. So beautiful. Glad you got away for a bit to enjoy His beauty.

Andrea....Thanks so much for the beautiful fall picture. Arizona doesn't have the glorious display of fall foliage that you do. This Georgia gal still misses it and is enjoying the beautiful Fall hues through posts like yours!
Look forward to hearing "the rest of the story"....
Sweet Blessings!

I send you tons of hugs and good thoughts. Yesterday we were out and we were talking about prayer. My youngest piped up, 'Pray for David.' Pray for David I asked her? Yes, she said. It's on your blogs. I told her who David was - We are still praying for David...Have a great week. Sarah

Oh, Andrea......We are so blessed to live in such beautiful country where we are able to see God's magnificent handiwork of the majestic mountains first hand! :> )

From my home, I am able to view the Massanutten Mountains from my front windows and the Blue Ridge Mountains from the back.

We went for a ride on the Blue Ridge on Saturday. I took some pretty pictures and even saw a 9 point buck....AMAZING! :> )

Blessings to you, my friend~

We live just at the beginning of the Blue Ridge mountains in Georgia & oh, I tell ya, every single time we travel a bit north it is just amazing! Sometimes it is just incredible to see the beauty and majesty of God's creation isn't it? Many times I have felt just overwhelmed by the presence of God or just in awe when we venture into the mountains. I am so happy that you had this experience & I look forward to your future thoughts on what you experienced.

There is nothing in the world as beautiful as the leaves during an October in Virginia. Nothing in the world. That's a beautiful picture, Andrea.

I went to the mountains yesterday too! Perfect day! Today it's raining so I'm glad we went yesterday. Yesterday was for mother. Larry and I are going again in a couple of weeks. Leaves will be gone but we will still love that day.

What a beautiful picture Andrea! I had to make a drive today that gave me a similar scenery. Tried to take a picture while driving so we'll see how it turns out. Your day sounds so wonderful. I'm looking forward to hearing more about what God was doing.

Love you!
