Sweet Savannah Faith

Today, Savannah asked her parents to bring her to see Nana. Upon arrival she ran and jumped into my arms saying, "I needed to see Nana."

I share Savannah's beautiful heart with you today as I remember what is most important in life.

"Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the kingdom of GOD belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of GOD like a child will never enter it. Then He took the children in his arms and placed His hands on their heads and blessed them." Mark 10:14-16

Blessed to be a Nana,

Andrea

How precious Savannah sounds! I felt today as she must feel as I entered a new church (to me) and felt the presence of God surround me. My heart cried, "I needed to see you today."

Thank you for sharing this.

You have a beautiful little granddaughter, nana! When my grandgirls come up and give me a big hug, everything bad in life is lifted and taken away. I always tell any child that comes to my home, family or not, that I'm so glad to see them. I did with a friend's granddaughters several times. One day, my friend told me that that her granddaughter said that she wanted to come to house because I was always glad to see her! That blessed my heart so much...our children need to know that we're happy to see them, and welcome them with open arms when they come to the door.

God bless,
Mary

Oh Andrea,

Your little Savannah is absolutely precious! What an adorable face. As a Grammy myself I have to say there is nothing better than when I spend time with my grandbabies (all 4 of them!).

Grateful to be a grammy, too,

Julie

You must be making an impression in her life that will remain forever. She walks through life knowing she is loved. That's such solid ground.

Oh, Andrea, isn't she just adorable? That's how God wants us; to jump into His arms like a little child! We can learn so much from our wee ones. I hope you're feeling better by now! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week.

Blessings,
Sandi

Being loved is wonderful, but being loved by a child is the best. Especially when most of the time we've done nothing to earn it. How lovely for you :)

It amazes me how the Lord teaches me lessons of faith when I am with my granddaughter. Kids are, indeed, special teachers from Him to us. Oh, to trust Him like a child! Savannah is a baby doll. Is her hair naturally wavy or does mom curl it?

Ah, yes! There is nothing like the pure love of a child to remind us of exactly what we are and what we should be. Wonderful, Andrea!

I so love the pure soul of young children...their words are so honest and full of love! I wish we could all keep that gift as we get older! Thank you for your lovely comments you left on my thank you post!

I too am blessed to be a Nana but not blessed, as you are, to have her near to me. I was there at her birth but not she is over 4 months old and I miss her tremendously.

CHerish your sweet grandchild!

Andrea,

This warmed my heart. She is absolutely ADORABLE, too. I love the little blond curls. I can see her wrapping her arms around your legs waiting to be picked up.

Hugs,
